From what I've heard so far, it was a decent enough game last night so thanks to all the ringers who played, especially the last minute ones.
Next week Martie, Stuart, Scott and Andy will be back hopefully. Si's ankle is still it bits and the Doc tells me that I've damaged the ligaments in mine so a few more weeks for me I rekcon - baws.

And no one knew who anyone was. Basically, everyone pulled out leaving just four Hardcore (and two of them tried to pull out). Here's the squad list:
Foxy
Neil
Kyle
Wills
Steven
Paul
Jon
Campbell (Kyle's flatmate)
Jamie (Paul's friend)
Wills' mate (don't even have a name for the poor chap)
So you have ten but I have no idea what the teams will be - probably better you sort it out on the pitch, which is number 7 tonight.
Enjoy!

Alan coaches his son's football team and this instructional picture was sent round - I thought'd I'd share:

Foxy thinks the score was 16-11 to the Mince and that's all I know about the game.
Next week I'm hoping Stuart, Martie, Kyle and maybe even me will be back. Gordo's away for another three weeks in the US of A.

Kyle, Martie, Stuart, Si, Gordo and myself are all out of this week's game. Jon, Ross, Paul and Grant fill the gaps. Pitch 6 (which is the pish bumpy one).
So the Fitbaw Summer Extravaganza 2009 is all set, at least the date is - 18th July. So far, it's looking like a game of fives around noon and then get some cheap food somewhere and as much beer as we can squeeze out the kitty. However, I'm still open to suggestions for something else to do - just drop me an email but bear in mind the cost.
Seeing as we'll have more than the required 10 for the fives, if anyone doesn't want to play or is still injured (Foxy, Si, maybe me) then please still come along to the noon game and have a few beers and shout "Pish!" at all the players.
As for food, Foxy suggested the Counting House in town - you get two mains for £7 or there abouts meaning more cash for beer. If it's a good day, then I reckon we'd be best to find a beer garden and set up camp there. Again, all thoughts and venue suggestions welcome - just send me an email.

Wills and Foxy are back and I'm hoping to be fit as well. Anyone can't play, please let me know as soon as possible.
Best of luck to the guys playing the Ian Younger Sixes on Saturday - mon the Gers!

This week I'm still out, Foxy's working on his house, Wills is on holiday still and Si's still broken.
Recently, Kyle and Foxy have been sorting the teams out since I've not been playing to judge the form, but seeing as Kyle's not in the office this afternoon and Foxy's not playing, I'll give the teams a bash. Hope they seem OK - feel free to change them if everyone's not happy.
Have a good game and see some of you on Saturday for the sixes.

Next Saturday (13th June) is the Ian Younger Sixes. I asked a while back who was interested in playing this year and here's the list:
- Iain
- Andy
- Kyle
- Wills
- Jon
- Stuart
It seems that we'll only have a squad of 9 or 10 rather than the 15 or so we seemed to have last year so make sure you're feeling nice and fit!
Meet time is 11:30 at Lesser Hampden and our first game (as the mighty Rangers) is 12:10. Here are all the details:
- Info
- Notes
- Timetable
- Fixtures
If anyone can't play, please let me know ASAP or if anyone is not playing who might be interested, let me know and I'll speak to Martie and see where we are with numbers. There's a good chance that I'll not be fit so another player might not be a bad idea. Scott?

That was the noise my computer made the other day so sorry for the late posting of the teams but I've been scrambling about trying to get a PC that works.
Wills is off on holiday for the next two weeks, Si is out for some time it looks like and my foot is still not very happy - not sure what's wrong with it.
Jon makes up the tenth man. Have a good game.
