Man of the match up for last night. Sounds like a close game.
Next week Iain and myself are back. Know one else has pulled out so could be a hat of doom.

I have a feeling about tonights game,
Its going to be a classic. two top quality teams. Some quite amazing footballing ability some of the best players in the world and after the 5's is finished theres the champions league final!
If anyone is interested, I will be going to the pub to watch it. No idea what pub but you have my number.
Apparently not - well done Martie! By all accounts a close enough game so I hope you all enjoyed it.
Next week, I'm on holiday and Kyle isn't playing. Si's back so that should mean another all Hardcore event. If anyone can't play, then please let me know TODAY so I can sort it out. At a push, I can try sort it out tomorrow but I'm not in the office so today is preferable.
Normally Kyle sorts out stuff in my absence but he's not in the office until Wednesday himself (hence why he's not playing) so if anyone discovers that they can't play after tomorrow, then there's going to be no one to get you a reserve so you'll have to do it yourself. I'll send an email round with contact details for the reserves.
So, Foxy's booking the pitch, Foxy and Kyle will sort out the teams, Kyle will update the website, Scott will bring a ball but I still need someone (IDOX based) to collect the cash and pay for the pitch - please email me if you're willing to take this on. If no one does by lunchtime, I'm going to come looking for one so you've been warned.

Martie's back this week so I hope someone knows mouth to mouth! Foxy is back from his golf trip and Andy "The Marathon Man" makes is comeback too. The only ones out are me (ankle still sore) and Si (in Roma - ciao!). Please give you money to Kyle and can someone bring a ball please? I forgot to bring ours in - doh!
That means it's an all Hardcore affair! Everyone's had their shot of picking the teams so I'll just get them done this week (at some point - I'm very busy) and we can sort out when everyone wants to do after that.
Next week's game is still at 6:30pm. Most folk didn't mind and I had two for 6pm and two against so we'll just keep it as it is so everyone can play. I'm on holiday next week and Kyle isn't playing (or in work) so I need a volunteer to book the pitch at 8:55am. I'll get numbers sorted before I leave. If anyone is out for next week, please let me know by tomorrow at the latest.
I thought the teams looks pretty fair last night. Both sides had goal threats, the Mince had more passing ability but the Tatties had more pace - even stevens on paper. Turns out passing ability is worth more than pace! Our passing ability was limited to passing it out of goals straight to the opposition and then giving up when we went behind. I blame the sun being in our eyes.
So, that's everyone had a shot at picking the teams. How did you all enjoy it? Maybe not as much as you thought you would eh? So, what to we do now then? Another round? Will I go back to doing it? Let me know what you think.
Next week Foxy, Si, Andy and Martie should all be back. My ankle is knackered after last night's game so I think I'll be out and then I'm off on holiday so I'll see you all in a few weeks. Woohoo!
Hopefully this week will be the antithesis of last week's game - nice weather, ten guys who we all know, good football and a close game.
Foxy's in Florida, Si's in Rome, Andy's in Kilmarnock and Martie's at a funeral. Ross and Jon are the two subs.
Will we just talk about next week? OK, Andy the Marathon Man is back, Martin is actually going to make is comeback (I think), Wills, Scott, Alan and myself are all back too. In fact, only Foxy can't make next week as he's in Florida which technically means that we have eleven hardcore for next week's game (but I'm sure Martie will drop out).
I'm still waiting on hearing about the Ian Younger Sixes which is on Saturday 13th June. If you've not sent me an email saying you're interested, then you've not officially noted interest. Please do ASAP.
A whole host of regular faces missing this week - too many to mention actually, so I'll just say that Steven and Jon are both back, Kyle's two flatmates and one of Si's mates make up the ten.
Pitch 9 for the 7:30 kick off. Have a good game guys - I'm not playing as it's my wedding anniversary (but don't tell the wife as she still thinks I am).
Teams to follow shortly.
