Who won the losers? No they lost. Losers!

Thursday, September 25, 2008

Just thought i would quote some classic Simpson's!

contrary to belief the reason tatties lost isn't because i picked poor teams its because you are all rubbish.

OK apologies for picking poor teams. Iain's back soon so he can do them!

get voting anyway!

Getting 10 was easy this week!

None of the difficulties like last week for player despite Ross' best attempts with a late Wednesday morning call off. Apparently he got injured last night, So I hope he gets better soon.

Out this week we have
Foxy - again too much work on.
Iain - babysitting
William - Sorting out my wages
Me - Still injured ankle
Martie - Last i heard he gave up football and moved to Thailand to work as a lady boy. Best of luck to him.

So to replace all of them last weeks MOTM Jon is back in. Craig also plays as does Robert from our office. Thanks to you guys for playing.

Incidentally we don't have ball. Ross normally brings his but hes not playing. I will ask Gordo to take him.

Well that was close!

Great game last night with only one in it in the end.

The teams must have been fair this week as Andy didn't seem to complain. Its no wonder his misses lives away. It would be impossible to have to put up with his moaning on a daily basis. Anyway i have digressed. Thanks again to Neil for playing and Stu also who really did look more terrible than he usually goes.

Next week i am assuming Iain will still be off and with Martie fallen off the face of the earth it means that there will be no hat of doom but it will be a hardcore affair. See you next week and get voting!

We have 10!

Wednesday, September 17, 2008

It was beginning to look like we were going to get 10 but a last ditch attempt by Craig means that we have full compliment of players.

I say full compliment, Stu is doing a massive favour by playing as hes feeling a little under the whether. And I myself didn't plan to play but due to people pulling decided i will give it a shot.

on the out list we have;

Gordo - on Holiday
Foxy - snowed under at work (Strange that Celtic are playing tonight though)
Martie - currently in London working for whatever bank is still left.
Iain - babysitting
William - Not well
Scott - Painting his flat

Luckily Neil is able to play, as are the pretty much regulars of Jon and Ross. Craig makes an appearance and as I said his friend Neil (Nelly) also plays. Thanks go to him and Stu particularly.

I don't think i am going to get much time to pick teams. I am really busy so can we please bring both tops and we will decide from there.

Menacing Mincer work hard for win

Firstly i am in the wrong job. that headline took seconds to think of and would have easily made the headlines in the sun.
Ironically the match report i have received is probably very fitting to the sun.
"score was lots and lots to us, not many to them" I will let you guess who thats from.

Now get voting!

Congratulations to Iain and Gillian!!!

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

I suppose i should start with congratulating Iain on becoming a Dad. For those of you not aware he gave birth to Katie Elizabeth yesterday at 4.01. Well done him I say. Obviously he didn't give birth Gillan did but he want to take all the credit.

Also good to know hes a better shot in the bedroom than he is on the footy pitch.

Anyway back to the important stuff. Lots of ringers tonight.

Jon, Ross and Rob all make an appearance as Iain, Foxy and myself are out. Neil is still on holiday and Martie i believe has been abducted.

Finally someone will need to bring a ball. The good one is with Iain and my house mate pumped the other one over a wall. Its Ok though as he will replace it or i will break his other leg tonight.

Finally Finally Alan will take the money tonight.

Bottoms bounce back

Thursday, September 04, 2008

According to my sources, the Mince were ahead right from the start and all the way through, even going five up at one point, but as the game drew to a close, the Tatties pulled back goal after goal until all was level and full time was almost upon them. With a final push, the Davids managed one final goal and then began their five man defence in a bid to hold out the Goliaths before the pitch invasion. And hold out they did - one in it and a good game.

Next week Neil is still away, I'm hopefully on paternity leave but Craig will be back so it could be an all regulars affair.

Top and bottom

Wednesday, September 03, 2008

It's the top half of the table vs the bottom half tonight for no other reason that it seemed like a fair split and it made life easy for me. So we'll see what happens.

Neil is on holiday for the next two weeks, Craig is away this week but should be back next week and I'm still on baby watch. Jon got in early this week and fills the tenth spot.
