Poor Stu - I had no idea he was even injured till I realised he'd been in goals for 20 minutes and Martie told me what he'd done. It just goes to show, you shouldn't kick a man that is as hard as steel! Grrrrr! I'll tell you this though, for a one footed keeper, Stu did a bloody good job. Thanks for playing on Stu and making it a proper game still.
Next week Alan is on holiday, Stu will be injured I imagine (but let me know anyway mate just in case) but hopefully William will be back. Scott is in again (99% sure but he's going to check for us) so we need one more. I'll get onto that on Monday when we have numbers confirmed.
MOTM is up. Stu, if you're reading this, let us all know how you got on. Did you go to the hospital? Is it broken? etc. Ta

So seeing as it's the same squad as last week (William has a sore foot from his Saturday game), I thought we'd have a rematch seeing as it was a close game and a good game last week. The only differences are the pitch (8) and the team colours have swapped. We'll see if they make any difference!

Sorry about the lack of posts but as the IDOX boys will be aware, out network has been knackered since Wednesday - only now have we got internet access back.
So, it was great to be back though my legs felt a bit sorer that normal after the game. That's what two weeks off must do for you. Anyway, it was hot and close all the way through and was a really enjoyable game. Well played to the Tatties for sticking in and fighting back for the win - we just let our guard down at the back.
Last week's MOTM was a tie between Alan and Stuart. There was also a surprise commenter by the name of "Thailand Jono" - be sure to check it out.
Martie also has information about a 7-a-side tournament on the 13th of October. If anyone's interested, please say so to Martie next time you see him or via email.

Teams are up - gutted to be missing another week. Hope it's a good game.
MOTM is still going from last week and there has only been four votes - get yours in while you still can.

There's a very good chance that tomorrow's game could well be only 4-a-side. Foxy's out of commission this week and I've got to go to a friend's wedding rehearsal! Random, I know, but there's no way I can get out of it.
That means we only need two more players but it seems that everyone is on holiday this week, and I do mean everyone! I've asked everyone who's played this year so far and those that aren't on holiday are either injured or have plans that they can't change.
Ponto might be able to play which would give us nine and hopefully Martie can get one of his lads to play but if either of those fall through then we don't have any hope of getting ten players.
Unless any of you know anyone who might fancy a game? If so, please ask them and let me know.
UPDATE - All hail The Ponto who is able to play! One more....
MORE UPDATE - All hail The Ponto twice as he has managed to get one of his friends and players from his Thursday night game, Allan to play. Allan has played beore bu only once and that was May 2005.
Teams will go up about lunchtime.

Not sure what the final score was last night but I think the Mince won by one - 15-14 (although the last goal was after regulation time)
Tis was a close game all the way through but I think the heat played its part as despite the close score line it wasn’t particularly pretty
Anyway get your votes in!

Right teams are up. Foxy and I did seperate teams but we both came up with similar results (only one difference between each side) so I decided that we would go with his teams. if you're not happy with them let me know and i will get onto doing nothing about it straight away.
Karl is back from his trampoline injury, which I first thought was fake – but then I realised know one would admit to that unless it was true.
also in this week are steven and Craig and William finally makes his first appearance as a regular.
