I'm pretty sure we were winning and then we just got pumped - not quite sure how that happened but well done to the Tatties.
Next week, Jon will be playing his final game before he jets off to Australia for a year. Jon will be sorely missed on Wednesdays with his shouts of "Tern!" and "Carry!". Jon has thrown himself into Fitbaw with great enthusiasm and has been a real asset to our squad. Thanks very much mate and have a great year. We'll try and get you a game when you get back.
Teams are up! Neil's at the Opera, Foxy's babysitting and poor Gordo has a flu. William, Craigo and Scott (the non-SEPA variety) make up the squad.
Also, if want to be involved in the Ian Younger Sixes, then don't forget to email Martie ASAP.

Martie is looking for players for this year's Ian Younger Sixes. A few of us played last year and it was bloody good fun even though we didn't score any goals!
Like last year we will be playing as The Mighty Glasgow Rangers and will be taking on the likes of Partick Thistle, Queens Park and other big names! You can download the full fixture list if you want.
The football starts at 11am at The National Savings Bank Sports & Social Club, Cowglen.
The top two teams from each group will go into the quarter finals whilst the remaining teams will compete for the Plate (aka EUFA Cup).
Medals will be presented to the winners and runner up and there will be ten medals for both of those teams.
During the day the Social Club will be open and we will be running a barbecue. After the football finishes there will be a Football Quiz, presentations (including QPSFC's Player of the Year awards) and a party until 1am.
There is also a coach leaving Cambuslang (Buchanan Drive shops) at 9.30am and picking up at Holyrood Sports Centre, Citizens Theatre and City Centre and will also be returning about 1am after the evening finishes and dropping off at the same points. There may be a pick up/drop off point in Shawlands too if that's of any use to anyone - here's a map of where the venue is all the probably bus stops.
The cost is £40 per team so should be about a fiver per head and should be paid on arrival.
If you want to play then please let Martie know ASAP via email - martin.penman[AT]rbs.co.uk
Sorry to those who were unaware of the shortened game last night. It was the only way I could get 10 players - promising them they could get home in time to watch the Champions League final. Anyway, the Tatties were lucky it finished when it did as the Mincers were well on their way so making it into a cricket score ;)
Not a bad comeback thought. When I first picked the teams, I tried to offset the "Stevie Effect" - no offence to any of the Mince players of course. By the time I got to the pitch, I was convinced that we were on for a pumping and right form the off, the Tatties took control (with a couple of OGs from us to help them along). I think it was 6-1 to the Tatties at one point but after some tight marking and good defence we stopped them scoring and managed to get a couple back until it was 8-8. There were only 2 minutes left of the shortened clock which was just enough for us (i.e. Stevie) to pinch the win. A good, close game which I very much enjoyed - thanks to all for playing and I hope you all made it home in time to see the CL game.
Next week Foxy is still baby sitting and Neil is off to the opera (oooooooh) but we should see the return of Stuart, Jon (maybe) and Kylie.
You may have missed it but last week's MOTM was shared between Brad and Jon.
The stats have finally been updated after my holiday.

Thanks very much to Kylie for running the show last week and, from what I've heard, doing an OK job too! (even if it did have a pink tinge to it).
This week, Jon is watching his team in the CL final (he booked it off as soon as they got through). Foxy is baby sitting, Stuart is at a gig and Kyle is down in England. Si and Donny are obviously still out.
Talking about those two, Donny is hoping to return mid-June and Si will be going under the knife in a month or with another four to six weeks recovery so maybe back playing around September! Hurrah for both the SEPA guys!
In this week are William, Brad, Steven and Craigo and I've tried to balance the teams as much as possible but who knows!

Bad idea getting a taxi - those were the words Martie chose after turning up a little late. Well done the Tatties who despite playing well lost by 7 goals. (You seem to have forgot our 10 goal head start)
I think pitch 7 has gone from being the worse to the best due to the new magic grass. The only problem is that I seem to have collected more of those crappy black things. There all over the carpet but I don’t care that much it’s not my flat.
I am off next week so I am going to let Iain stand in for me.
Please vote for a Man of the Match. 6 votes last week, that’s poor.

With Iain being away I am the boss and I am afraid to admit I am power crazy! So well done anyone on my team. Because we start with a 10 goal head start. I though I would put the teams up early so if anyone wants to change them let me know.
Had a couple of dropouts, Gordon (he says he told Iain but I was never told) and Foxy are unable to make it. Neil and Stuart make it clear that they didn’t want me in charge and dropped out last week. Cheers for the support!
So welcome back Brad, Liam and Craig. Craig is suffering from a slight shoulder injury and has warned me he maybe unable to play in goal. (If anyone is interested I think he got it through climbing, my shoulder injury has come from carry 4 other players on a Wednesday night)
Jon as got a friend to play tomorrow and having asked for a name he said it was Andriana. So because I can that’s what I am sticking with.

After 20 minutes it was still 1-0 to the Mince after a fine finish from Neil - shame it was into his own net though. By half time it was all even but some string defensive work kept the Tatties out and allowed the Mince men to steal a lead which they managed to hold onto despite some fine individual goals from Kylie. Well done Martie for the team selection - I approve! ;)
I'm off on holiday next week so if anyone has any trouble and can't play then either let me know this morning or after that, let Kyle know (kyle.burrows AT idoxplc.com). I'll try get numbers and teams sort before I go if at all possible.

Last week Martie was less impressed by my side picking ability - well seeing he lost and yet the last few weeks when he has one by big margins, he never complained.
Anyway, he "demanded" to pick the teams and so there they are just over there -->
(OK, he never demanded but I did offer to let him pick them if he though he could do any better so we'll see!)

It's a game of two halves and I wonder how much of an influence the choice of end had on the first half. The Mince managed to get a half time lead by only a few goals but that was enough for the Tatties to wilt in the heat. Damn hard work out there so well played to all.
Foxy's off to Florida next week so William will be playing again. As long as Stu's back then we already have out ten.
MOTM is up for your voting pleasure.
It was a bit touch and go for ten players this week but we have ten and all is well with the world. Foxy is still in hiding before going on a golf holiday and Stu has the cold thing that got Neil and Karl the other week. Big Dave and William make it ten.
I think it's only fair that we swap ends at half time tonight seeing as the blazing sun will be a bit pish to play into for a full hour. We can have a "ring toss up" before kick off to decide who gets what end for the first half.
