Well played to the Mince who battled back in the second half for the win.
Alan is back next week but Neil is off to Paris. Jon is still an unknown.

I got another "Astro Baw" out of the kittie to replace the one we (and by "we" I mean "Alan") lost (and by "lost" I mean "recklessly booted onto the M8").
Teams are also up for what looks like another hot game. It was meant to rain a bit but there doesn't look like much chance of that at the moment. Alan is on holiday and Jon has a sore ankle from last week. Donny and Tamba are stepping up the plate.
Pitch 6 this week - see you there!
I think the breeze that we had made the game a bit more bearable but damn was it hot out there. The Mincers managed to put a few more passes together than the Tats plus some good finishing gave them the edge.
Next week Alan is on holiday so Donny will hopefully be back.
Teams are finally up using the coin flip method of selection.
Tonight is going to be hot stuff lads so please make sure you bring plenty of water to drink. Drink breaks will be mandatory throughout the game. Any player wishing to do a David Beckham chunder please leave the pitch!
Also, I think it's only fair to keep switching the end we're playing at so the one team isn't playing into the sun for too long so we'll try swap it every 15 minutes.
Last night it was a tale of two teams playing two different styles of football - the Tatties was quick on the break and passed it mainly along the deck while the Mincers played a lot of route one right over the top. One worked and one didn't but that's fitbaw eh?
Mind you, the Mince managed to hit the bar or post quite a few times again last night after some nice moves. I think last night showed some of the best football (from both sides) that we've played for a while. Maybe the wee pitch forces tighter passes or maybe it just allows for quciker football as there's less ground to cover.
Next week we move from the tiny pitch (which I now quite like!) to the giant, sand covered concrete of pitch 7. Fast and furious stuff! Si will be back which should give us our ten (with Creeky and Craigo both unfit).
What would your name be if you played for Brazil?. I am "Cochraninho"! Fear my shiney boots!
There's a tournament on at Powerleague today so we've been relegated to pitch 11. Bah!
It was 5:55pm and we were leaving the office to head up to the game. Karl arrived in my office and I asked him if he'd seen Alan. Karl said that he hadn't seen him. We checked and right enough, no Alan - he was on holiday! Shock horror!
I called Si to see if he could get someone but no reply. Martie tried a few people but no luck there either. As we were getting changed this guy beside me said that he felt not too tired after his game as he'd been at the gym. Jokingly, I said that he could play again then if he wasn't tired and to my surprise he said yes! Hence we had ten men thanks to Random Stan!
I lost track of the score at the end so if anyone has a better idea then 7-12 then let me know.
Next week Alan should be back (but who knows). Foxy was no more jollies in the near future so he'll be playing. Gordo "The Big One" Kelly returns from his mamouth holiday. Creeky will probs still be off (poor lad) and Craigo might be out for a while with his groin strain. Donny has already agreed to be the tenth man.
Foxy is away to gold this week, Gordo is still on holiday and Creeky has shingles! Fook! Get well soon big man! Donny is in again and teams are up though it was bloomin hard! I think the Tatties could be on for a pumping but we'll see.
Next week we'll have Foxy and Gordo back but Creeky will probably miss a few weeks.
