Alan makes his comeback tonight after 10 weeks on the sidelines. He's going to avoid goal keeping duties this week just to be on the safe side.
Heck of a close game last night. The Mincers scored first but then the Tatties went two up. From that point on, the scored leveled then one team would go one ahead, then it would level again - all very exciting! I reckon it could have gone either way toward the end but some great goal keeping by Si and some cheeky poaching by Foxy sneaked us the victory.
MOTM is up and the stats are all up to date.
Next week Martie is out for dinner for his Mum's birthday and Karl is on holiday to Finland and will miss the next three games. Craig's back in and Alan might even be able to play which would give us our ten.
OK, teams are up before kick off this week so I'm getting better. Next week I'll try have them up by lumchtime on the Wednesday adn then work towards a Tuesday posting.
Tonight you can witness me being in goals for most of the match or rolling around on my booze and food filled belly after a week of doing feck all.
I'm home from my holiday which was wonderful though I fear it will have done nothing to improve my fitness due to the volume of food and drink that was consumed! Thanks to Creeky and Foxy for looking after the place for me.
As far as I am aware, only Craig can't play this week (he has a hot date - oooooh!) but if anyone else is unavailable then please let me know ASAP. I'll try get the teams up sooner rather than later.
Bit of a greasy wet night with a few slippery moments in comparison to recent sunblindness of wednesdays past. It was pretty even until about 6-6 when the tatty firepower took charge and there were a few mince blunders! Craigo def. scored the best goal on the night after weaving around all 4 tattskis to hammer the ball into the top-right corner from quite a tight angle! Definately NO extra time played last night... with about 5-6mins togo people just left the pitch - just when craigo was about to score again! tsk! maybe that had something to do with a certain Champions League Final? The Mince vs Tatties wednesday bash for once out shone by another game..oooer?
Ok, well once I figure out my war'n'peace instructions for the MOTM poll, I'll set that up when I get a chance today...

As you guys may be aware, there's a wee tournament coming up called the World Cup. Our good friend, and fottballing genius Baz, has set up a sweep stake on his brother's site. I think the entry is going to be £2 with 50% to the winner and 50% to charity. I'll grab money off those of you who enter from outside of IDOX and give it to Baz. If you work with Baz, just give the cash striaght to him.

In other news, Martie has entered a sixes tournament at Cowglean on the 3rd of June. He says:
3rd June at Cowglen, grass pitches and everything! Only snag is we're Rangers and as such must adorn the famous jerseys! Being a Gers man isn't essential, but having to wear a Rangers top is. We have had Celtic fans play for us in the past though. There are showers, changing rooms, a bar, a BBQ and much fun to be had. It's not overtly serious although there are 1 or 2 rather good sides in it. All volunteers are welcome as our team has been decimated by call offs, ideally a squad of 9 would do but the more the merrier, so like I said, everyones welcome.

Man it was hot last night! Thanks to Foxy and Neil for picking the teams. I thought their team looked the better side but you just can never tell these days.
Today is my last day in the office then I'm off on holiday for a week so will break my 100% attendance record - boo. Creeky is back and Alan is still injured (though progressing - it's still going to be a few weeks yet) so we should hopefully already have 10. If anyone can't make it, please let me know today but failing that, let Creeky know as he'll be sorting out numbers and keeping the webshite up to date. Foxy will bring the baw and collect the cash as well as his usual job of booking the pitch. I'll be back the week after when normal service will be resumed as work should hopefully be a bit quieter. Sorry for the shoddy posting round here of late.

Well played to the Mince for their fight back last night but let's face it, the Tatties were frickin' robbed! Grrr! That's me lost four games in a row now - bassas!!!
Foxy is back from holiday next week but Creeky is on holiday instead which means no HoD again. I will endeavor to get the teams up sooner rather than not at all.
