So our second draw of the season - well done Foxy and Gordo for picking the teams. A great game last night. I think only once for a short period of time, was there every more than one goal in it. A draw seemed like a fair result (and there was football to be watched!).
Points to note:
1. Creeky's headed goal - after Alan's attempted header, Creeky said "Hey, that's my trick!" and on the next kick, Stuart launched one from the back corner right onto the big man's noggin who stuck it away!
2. Jon's lob of Alan in goals - dummy the shot, shoot, save, lob, goal! One of the few times Alan was beaten in goals last night.
3. Martie's curling top corner strike. Martie was marked quite tight with no pass on, so he just curled it round the defender at such pace that the keeper didn't even see it til it was going past him!
4. Alan
Next week Karl is back as is Craig (though not sure if he'll be playing). Foxy has an appointment and Martie may be working but will let me know, so we'll just leave it til Monday to sort out numbers. Now, away and vote - I want to see ten votes again this week!

Jon and Donny are in this week to fill in for Craig and Karl. Ta much chaps.
Gordo and Foxy fought out the teams on the whiteboard this week which has resulted in what you now see on the right.
Pitch 8 again this week.
Si won last week's MOTM and we managed to get 10 votes - thanks very much!

Didn't they do well!? Great game last night. Close all the way with some good football on show too.
Craig is still away next week and Karl won't be playing either. He's going away for the weekend and doesn't want to get injured before his holiday. How very sensible! El Gordo should be back so we're two men down. Jon will probably be playing (if he can bear to miss the first few minutes of the Liverpool v Chelsea match that is on next week) and A. N. Other from SEAP probs.
MOTM is up so away and vote please.

Scott has agreed to be sidelined this week with Jon recovering in time from his nose dive down some stairs to keep his place. William is playing again as El Gordo is off out for his mum's birthday - awwww!
Alan won last week's MOTM - those new boots must have done the trick.
Teams are up but note that it's pitch 8 this week.
UPDATE - Due to some top colour shortages, I've swapped the teams around so if you thought you were in the light team, you're now in the dark. The teams you now see are the correct ones. Sorry for the confusion.

We have ten men but we're not sure who the tenth man is - either Scott or Jon.
Teams will go up tomorrow when the 10th man is confirmed. Bring both colours of tops please if you're bringing your kit to work!

I'm not completely sure of the final score but I've been told by Foxy it was 22-7 so I'll go with that unless someone can tell me any better.
Craig is off on holiday for the next two weeks but Jon has agreed to play next week and assuming Creeky is fit, we've already got our 10! Hurrah!
MOTM is up for your voting pleasure as are the new stats.

Thanks to Creeky last week for looking after stuff round here and for Foxy attempting to collect the money. ;)
This week, Craig is away in London again and Creeky still has a light injury. Si's managed to rope in Scott and Jon for tomorrow's game which is on pitch 6 at the usual time of 6:30. Martie is away in Edinburgh but reckons he should get back in time as long as there are no majoy hold ups on the motorway.
Teams are now up for you viewing pleasure.

The Mana of the Match poll is up ready for voting. Eeky should be back for next week's game so I shall log off for now.. Creeky.

Teams r up, remember to pay your £5 to Foxy as he's dealing with the cash in Iain's absence. Have a good game.
Creeky.

Big thanks to Will for stepping in for the absent Martie. Ok you lot I'll put the teams up shortly...

Ok folks, we had 10 (courtesy of Si, thanks) but Martie has pulled out today so we're down to 9 men. If you know anyone who is free to play could you ask them? thanks..

Not quite as good a game as last week. The Tatties put on a decent comeback at one point but the passing and running from the other team was just too strong. A well deserved win.
MOTM poll is up so let's see if we can get more than 3 votes this week!
Next week Foxy is back and we're also back on pitch 6 (yeah!). However, I'm away on holiday, Creeky is injured for the next two weeks, and I think Craig might be taking a few weeks sabatical before he heads off on holiday.
Creeky will be looking after the site in my absense so any problems let him know - christian.graham[at]idoxplc.com (replace the [at] with an @ obviously - just to stop him getting spam).
