Yes I know, there ain't any teams. I'll get on it later today, I promise. We just managed to get the tenth man last night. Gordo's mate, Big Dave will be playing tonight (he's played once before). The rest of the squad should be all the regulars, minus Foxy who is still on holiday.
Unfortunately, we're on pitch 11 tonight (one of the tiny ones up at the top), but if anyone cancels then we should get moved. Next week, we're back to pitch 6.
UPDATE - Teams are up!

Last night had it all - sun, wind, rain, an insurmountable lead, a spirited fight back, an exciting exchange of goals to keep the score level, crunching tackles, mazy runs, half way blinders, top corner curlers and almost a diving header from Donny!
Good game last night guys so thank you, one and all! Now away and vote for your MOTM - comments on why appreciated.
Next week Foxy is still off but Alan and Stuart should be back. One player required at the moment. Also, pitch 11 at the moment but they're going to give us a better pitch is anyone cancels.

Sorry this is so late in the day but work's bee horrific this week!
Well seeing as we've got so many SEPA chaps playing tonight and exactly 5 IDOX guys, Craig, Gordo and I decided it might be a good laugh to do a kind of us vs them. Martie will be temporarily seconded to SEPA for the afternoon.
The teams look a bit loaded for the SEPA guys but hopefully it'll still be a good game.

Well played to the Mincers last night. They were good and we were pish. On paper, I think that they had the upper hand but it definately should have bee closer than it was.
Gordo and Foxy combine too well - but I know why...

MOTM is up for voting for Mince players. Last week's result was close but ended up a tie between Jon and Al. Well done the SEPA boys.
Next week we have quite a few absentees. Stuart, Alan and Foxy are all away and not sure if Creeky will be fit. Si will be recruiting the SEAP chaps hopfully.

It's never really happened before, but this week, we have all 10 hardcore ready and willing to play, so what we're going to do, is have a rematch of the game a few weeks ago.
Martie, Stuart, Creeky Si and myself were in the pub on Saturday and we've decided that we can win (this was after a few pints mind you), so this Wednesday is grudge match!
The last time the score was an embarrassing 15-9, so we've got a bit of a way to go! GAME ON!
(of course now that I've posted this, sod's law dictates that some body will have to call off!)
UPDATE - Well what do ya know! Someone has pulled out! Creeky injured himself PLAYING FOR ANOTHER TEAM (ponto's mob) and so will not be able to play. It was either the game with Ponto or a very dangerous marketting dinner that he went to instead of playing last week!
Anyway, Si has managed to get Donny to play so thought we'd just do a straight swap - Donny for Creeky. Odds are probably against us Tatties, but that just makes it interesting doesn't it.
We'll get that rematch someday!

Scorchio! So the first draw of the year and what a belter it was. A great comeback by the Tatties but some resilient defending by us Mince.
The Mince were up most of the way through, but with 3 minutes to play, the Tatties were two goals up (well one really if you don't count my spectacular howler in goals - does that mean it was a moral victory for us? ;)). Anyway, either way it was a great game in bloody roasting conditions.
Thanks again so the SEPA boys for playing and also to Big Andy. MOTM is up so away and vote (please leave a comment) and see if we can get 10 votes again this week.

El Gordo and Alan are away this week so Alasdair and Donny will be filling in. Teams to follow later today.
Thanks to everyone for voting last week. With all the hardcore playing, it was good to see a full ten votes.
UPDATE - Big Creeky has pulled out of the game as he has to go eat tea with his boss(es). WTF! What kind of committment is that I ask you! Anyway, we've got ANOTHER new player coming into the fray - Andy, a new salesman in our office. Andy user to play a lot of rugby league - the jessie version of the manly sport ;) - but he's also played a lot of 5s. Ringers Law strikes again. Hopefully the teams will work out.
Oh, pitch 8 this week.

The Tatties were pish. The Mince were good. End of match report.
Mind you, I wouldn't object the maybe playing the same teams at another point in time. I still think that the teams are relatively fair - maybe one swap.
Away and vote your MOTM.

I don't believe it! No one has pulled out (yet). So we actually have all ten of the eleven hardcore that have two working legs.
Si and I spent many hours and pints in the pub on Thursday debating the teams and finally came up with what you now see to your right.
Back to pitch six this week.
