For the statistically minded of you, you may have noticed that this year's table is less than interesting. Stuart, Karl and Creeky preside over the top end, while Martie and myself are quite unagruably the losers!
MOTM, however, can still be hotly contested! Above is a wee graph of how's it been going so far. As you can see, Foxy and Gordo are tied with 3 MOTMs each. Most other people have at least half a MOTM (when it's a draw), but only one regular has failed to win one vote so far this year - ME! :(
Well I don't know about you but I thought that's the best game we've had for ages. With only 15 minutes to go it was all square at 6 all but then the Mince just had a wee run at the end so it was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests.
Thanks very much to Donny, David and Allan for playing. Next week Martie and Si are back. Craig is back from holiday but not sure on the state of his foot so he might be out. Big Alan is on holiday next week but Donny has signed up again.
Now away and vote!

Si's away on holiday this week, as is Craig. Martie is at the Oasis gig at Hampden tomorrow so we're three men down. Luckily, Si (even though he's not playing) has managed to get Donny, David and Alisdair to play! Huzzah! Teams are up.
With the number of SEPA guys we've had play over the years, Si and I were wondering about maybe getting a 7-a-side game - SEPA (and Co) vs IDOX! Something to think about.
UPDATE - It turns out that Alisdair can't play. Baws. However, one of Ponto's mates whom I know has kindly agreed to play - Mr Allan Beckett. Alan plays most weeks with Ponto on a Thursday and is quite handy in front of goal in his fancy white boots.

Well I'll say one thing - it's a better game when I chose the teams! 10-4 up at half time and then Gordon and Karl win it in injury time! Well done for keeping going chaps - ya feckers!
MOTM is up - go vote!

Well the Boy Stu is back this week but Craig's toe is pretty fecked so he won't be playing.
Si has managed to get Donny to play again (suprising that he was willing to play after last week's disaster!) so thanks Si. Si also might be able to get David to play again but we're not sure on that one.
So that leaves 9 as Martie's ankle is still knacked but if we don't get 10, then Martie is willing to play through the pain to make sure we're not left with 9. Grrrrr - manly!
I'll let you know as soon as we have more info.
Update - It seems that we have 10 ladies and gentlemen! Martie is going to take one for the team, as it were. In his own words:
"Should be able to kick a ball, the old ankle's still discoloured but it's
only painfull when I put some pressure on it. I'm sure I'll live." though.
So the teams have now been chosen with a bit of consultation with Foxy and Creeky. GAME ON!

Well another shitey game. The Tatties played some lovely football, don't get me wrong, but I think we'll all agree that the game is much more enjoyable when it's a bit closer!
Do you remember the days when we had draws or there was only 1 or 2 goals in it? Well those days were when I picked the teams so that's what's going to happen again! Sorry chaps, but this is now a dictatorship! MMMMWWWWAAAAAHHHHAAAHHAAHAHAHAHAAAAAH! From now on you shall call me Emperor Eeky!
Craig's toe looks fairly knackered but the Boy Stu is back from his travels and should be playing. Not sure about Big Martie and his ankle so we will need one ringer at least.
Stats and MOTM are up for viewing and voting.

Well the best laid plans o' mice and men all go down the gurgler! Our two illustrious captains, Alan and Creeky and decided the teams for this week. Creeks won the toss and got first pick and yet still managed to get Scott and Foxy! Sheesh!

Another mediocre game last night in conditions more suited to sitting in a beer garden with a cold pint. At least all went according to plan and Big Martie got his win! Congrats! ;-) MOTM poll is up - let's see those votes!
Now the teams. Recently there's been quite a few kicking going about. Only 4 out of the last 10 games have been within three goals at the end of the match. So in a bit to make the teams fairer, we're going to try the Foxy method. Two captains of similar standard (whom I will select, making sure everyone gets a chance to be a "captain" at one point) will toss for first pick and then take turns selecting players for their team. Just like school, the only difference being is that the captains will select the teams out of earshot so there we won't know who has the honour of getting picked last.
Stuart is still away next week but Karl should be back. So we still need one more player but hopefully one of the SEPA masses will be able to play.

Well this is Karl's first week as one of the hardcore and where is he? On holiday! So filling in for Karl and the boy Stu are Donny (who's played before) and Alisdair (who's not).
Thanks to Si for recruiting the reserves. Martie is picking the teams.

On my first game back in charge, I fecked up! Sorry lads. Stuart is away on holiday in Barcelona missing three Wednesdays. He told me last week and I forgot. In my defense, I told him I'd forget so he should send me an email but he didn't. Still, my fault and I apologies.
The game suffered somewhat as a result. Wee John was intent on just whacking that ball at goal - well, towards goal anyway. Anyway, I promise to locate 10 players for next week! If anyone can't play the send me an email please. Telling me after the game when I'm knackered obviously doesn't work.
MOTM poll is up and it would be nice to see people voting again. The stats have also been updated. Looks like Alan is making his move on Stuart! I finally won a game too! Woohoo! That's something I haven't done since the 9th of March!
When I get a chance, I'll promote Karl up to the big boys. Congratulations Karl!
Martie will be picking the teams for next week.
