For a few weeks. Last night was my last loss game for a few weeks. I'm off to get married and go on honeymoon so I will leave you in the very capable hands of Creeky. If you can't play or have any questions, let him know (christian.graham@idoxplc.com).
Last night was a good game. The Mince fought back well after going 3 down at the beginning but we just couldn't hit the target while Foxy and Chunky combined a little too well. Apologies to my team for me being extremely knackered and useless. MOTM poll is up curtsey of Creeky (I've got him in training!).
Si's back for next week and assuming Gordo's fit again, we'll have 9, including Karl, so still one man to find. I will try find that man before heading off. Picking the teams next week will be Big Alan.

Well wonder some more coz we still don't have 10 players. Craig still has busted feet. Gordo has pulled a sicky and Si is off to Dublin for a few days.
Young Karl is playing again, as is Chunky which takes us to 9! The other usual suspects (SEPA David and Ponto) are a no go!
Martie is trying to get Brian to play but failing that, it may well be 4 v 5 - baws! I'll keep the website up to date and Foxy will choose the teams as soon as we know what's what. I would bring both tops with you this week just in case.
Update - We have 10! Brian couldn't play as he has a groin strain but Paul, another of Martie's mates, can play. Paul played a couple of times last season with us.
I think in total, we've asked about 21 people to play this week. I'm looking forward to my wee break from all this! ;-)

Not a bad game last night. The Mince just couldn't catch up that initial lead the Tatties got. Didn't help us by the fact that David used to be a goalie!! Damn he was good between the sticks.
Some good running from the Tatties and a big of slack defending by the Mince gave them the win. MOTM poll is up so away and vote!
Foxy is picking the teams next week which is back to the usual time, if not the usual spot - pitch 8 will be the battle field for next week.

The teams are up, courtesy of Big Martie. 8pm and pitch 4 (which is a sandy one).
Craig's toes are still knackered and Stuart is away to Dublin. Karl and SEPA David are playing instead. Ponto is taking a break from subbing for us.

So Scott was a no show - sorry about that. He must have been out on call and couldn't make it. Never mind - Craig kindly got injured (the curse of the toe).
Martie will be picking the teams next week but Foxy wasn't in to book the pitch so we could only get 8pm on pitch 4. That should be enough time to get home, get ready and get back (except probably Alan). Let me know if you can't play as soon as possible please.

Gordo's "Dinosaur" teams have now been posted! Cheers Gordo.
UPDATE 1 - Poor wee Foxy is too tired after his weekend birthday "treat" - phnar! So we're a man down. However, Si has managed to rope Scott into playing. Straight swap I reckon and so does Gordo. Scott-o-sauras?
UPDATE 2 - Just realised with Foxy being the edler statesman of Fitbaw, I could used the whole "dinasaur" thing to better effect. Sorry! ;)

How will you cope? Admirally, I imagine. I have boring wedding stuff to do on Wednesday and it's the only night I can do it so apologies. Martie is also unavailable as he's off to Manchester with work.
The good news is that Craigo is back from his busted feet and able to play. Ponto and Karl (those two stalwarts of the reserves!) will be making up the numbers. MOTM last week, Gordo, will be selecting the teams at some point tomorrow.

I don't know if anyone's interested but below is the graph of page loads on the front page if the website. The 10th of March (a Thursday) had 94 loads. Now no one other than us looks at the site so did we all check it 9 times each or did we all look once or twice with the rest being Ponto and Creeky (yes guys, I can see your IP addresses!). Basically, on the day after games, we seems to average about 50-60 hits which is crazy! You're all fitbaw obsessives!

Well, Stuart was back to his winning ways. Next week I demand that Creeky and Stuart be in different teams! Another great game last night - was that pitch smaller? MOTM poll is up.
Martie is away next week but hopefully Craig's feet will be less sore and he'll be able to play. Has anyone not picked the teams this year? Or who did it right at the start of the season? Let me know please.

It turns out Alan did tell me that he was on holiday last week but he told me after a game so I promptly forgot! Sorry - my bad! He's back this week and raring to go - probably expecting to go top of the table after Stuart's first loss.
Ponto is back playing this week and has also kindly selected the teams. Craig is still out with sore feet (broken toes? The new Tom?) but Neil's shin splints seem to be better and is also back.
