Big Martie is off to Hampden to watch the cup semi final on Wednesday which gives us 10 without anyone having to miss out. Enjoy the game big man!
Alan has done a fine job of fixing choosing the teams this week. Cheers Alan.
Update - Luke's not going to make it this week as he's busy at work so Karl's going to play. Alan has updated the teams accordingly.

Good game last night. The mince were playing all kinds of attractive football - the tatties just seemed too tired to do anything about it. Some tremendous goal keeping from Craig, Tam and Alan kept their goal tally down, me thinks, and Foxy's determined solo efforts kept our goals tally up.
So, we have our poll thingy - please vote and also, it would be nice if people could leave a comment. There's a link just beloew the results to post one. Ta!
Next week we may have out first case of 11 man squad. Luke is back and no one has said that they can't play next week. I think, and let me know if you don't agree, that it's best to keep it just 10 men, rather than have rolling subs. So we have to come up with a way of all taking turns in not playing when we have extra men. Any ideas? Leave a comment on this post or drop me an email if you do.
Big Al will be picking the teams for next week's game.

Alan is back from is travels in New Zealand and is ready for a game! Big Creeky is back for what will also be his first game! Tom has managed to balance his heavy work load to find time to grace us with his presence. Luke, however, has some empty cardboard boxes to throw out and so won't be able to make it this week. ;-)
Craigo has selected the teams this week and as long as the lazy buggers ot PowerLeague have managed to get their fingers out, we'll be back playing on pitch 6 this week.
Game on!

Just in case anyone missed this pic from the IDOX Xmas night out! Dunno where Craig went and no idea how that big bugger Dave managed to sneak in either!
You may have noticed that there is a poll over on the right hand side, below the team listings. This is because we no longer have a forum, and let's face it, it only got used for MOTM polls anyway. So this is a wee test to see how we get on. Please try restrain yourselves and don't vote until after the game. In theory, you should only be able to vote once but I'm not sure if it'll block IPs once they've votes which could cause people in the same netwkr some troubles - we'll see.
Since they cancelled on us last week, we have a free pitch tonight! Sweet! Pitch 6 is still ut of commission so we have been moved to the tiny pitch 11 for tonight's game.
Team selector El Gordo has declared that the teams shall stand as they are. There's no snow so game on!

It may well be that tomorrow's game is weather dependent again. Gales are forcast for tonight so goodness knows what's going to happen.
We may be getting a free pitch but please bring money anyway incase it's not. Foxy will confirm with his bitches tomorrow morning.
Finally, Big Tam has had to pull out of tomorrow's game so young Karl is stepping in again. Teams may need adjusted and i don't really have time to sort it out today. Please everyone bring both tops if they have them.
Right, I'm off to await the deluge of comments/complaints/bug reports from Creeky once he gets his hands on this new site!
A huge big thanks to Luke who has saved the day and the Fitbaw site. Luke has kindly offered to host the website for us so you can all say thanks when you see him!
There are a few things to notice:
- no forum (coming soon - hopefully!)
- no gallery (not ever coming back unless we get some new photos)
- all existing links within posts will be bust as they will link back to the old site.

Well, another year, another season, which means another set of stats as well as another MOTM to vote for. Craigo starts the year at the other end of the table - hope he doesn't get too dizzy from the height! Alan is DOWN AT THE BOTTOM!
Well the first game of the season, as like so many of last year's games, didn't run to form. Some great football played by the Tatties but despite the high number of chances, a lack of goals. On the other hand, the Mincers didn't play that great an attacking game but defended well and got more than a few jammy goals to help them along. Them's the breaks I suppose! All in all, not a bad game to start the year off with.
In other news, the swines at Powerleague have hiked the price for the pitch up to a massive £45!! That means the kitty will only be able to save a fiver each week. Booo!
I reckon that we'll continue with everyone getting a chance to pick the teams. I'll confirm the squad and let who ever is going to be picking the teams know what is it at the beginning of each week. Next week Luke and Creeky are back from Chrimbo hols. If you want to pick the teams for next week, let me know, or I'll jut nominate someone each week.
