Creeky's stuck up the poll for last night's MOTM so go vote!
Next week's teams are not complete - we'll see who we get to fill in the gaps. Luke might make a comback which would be nice! I'll try pick fairer ones this week!
In other injury news, Mikey Tamba (who's leaving IDOX to do Maths teacher training - best of luck wee man!) might be playuing again soon too - if only in goals for a while). Tom's toe is on the mend and he thinks middle of September for a comeback. Si's ankle is still pretty mangled so it might take him a bit longer.

Neil and Martie are off this week to go watch the mighty Gers play the ruskies at Ibrox. Luckily, we have the mad skills of Baz to keep up entertained. He's also bringing along a mate to fill the gap. Ta much chaps!

The version of PHP (the magic stuff that makes the forum run) on this server has recently been upgraded and the current forum does not support it. This means that the forum is throwing errors from time to time. The will look something like this:
"Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'SQLiteException' with message 'var: Deprecated. Please use the public/private/protected modifiers' in /home/cocovan/public_html/forum/common.php:120 Stack trace: #0 /home/cocovan/public_html/forum/viewtopic.php(26): include() #1 {main} thrown in /home/cocovan/public_html/forum/common.php on line 120"
I'm afraid that there's not much I can do until the next version of the forum software is released. In the meantime, you can normally just refresh the page and stuff should work OK.

Fook me! That is some rain! Anyway, the show must go on!
Just to say that I know the forum is not working (before anyone else tells me!). It looks like the database is down - nothing to do with me. I imagine the guy that looks after the server will be trying to get it working ASAP.
Until then, remember that you can comment on posts now. If you want to be able to post yourself, let me know and I'll tell you what to do.

Baws - it looks pap in IE. Stuff gets cut off. It's not my fault - honest. It's IE. It's shite!
Go use Firefox instead!
It may not look any different to most of you but this is actually a whole new site. It's now powered by Blogger - a free blogging tool owned by Google. Basically, it lets me just type in entries and they are automatically published to the site. It also allows comments on posts so you can argue over everything that I say from now on - superb!
I've set up a side blog for the team listings so that looks after itself too and also set one up for the match reports so that they are not on the front page. It also means that everything gets archived automatically.
The last benefit is that if I'm away then anyone else can look after the site and post stuff. If anyone wants to be able to do this then they should register with Blogger and let me know their username.
It's taken a few lunchtimes and a bit after work but it'll save time in the long run so I can't be arsed moving it to a new url so form now on you'll have to come to this sub page rather than the root of the site.
Oh, and if anyone cares, there are RSS feeds for the main blog, team listings and match reports. If you don't know what RSS feeds are then you really don't want to!
